About me
I first took a deep dive into the birth world when my wife, Majo, was pregnant with our daughter, Luna. Throughout her pregnancy, as I listened to birth stories and read the most up-to-date evidence-based birth research, I became increasingly passionate about how beautiful, redemptive, and healing birthing can be (while also being extremely challenging and intense); and yet how up to 45% of birthing people in present-day USA experience birth trauma.
After Majo labored and birthed at home for 54 hours, and had a uniquely painful birth (due to 2 sulcus tears, hemorrhaging, and a 4th degree tear), but did not experience it as traumatic, I was reminded of what I already intuitively knew: When we are active participants who are present to our births, regardless of the outcome, we will be much less likely to experience trauma. No aspect of life is all sunshine and rainbows, hard things happen all the time. Life is not about avoiding challenging circumstances, because if it was we would miss out on a lot of life. I believe that all experiences, especially the ones that push us outside of our comfort zones, are meant to be attended to with presence, grace, and love. By showing up to ourselves in these moments, we have the opportunity to be changed in ways we never could have imagined. Birthing is extremely hard work. Like any major life event it takes preparation, training, and spiritual offerings to invite in ease and grace. And that's where I come in!
As a certified doula and an intuitive channeler, I weave my practical and mystical skillset to serve you on your journey. If you are looking for someone who believes in your innate capacity to birth, and who can support you in tuning into your own intuition and deep knowing, you have come to the right place. As part of our work together I will help you remember what you already know: You are a divine & wild human who has created life in your womb. You are magic.
Both my wife and daughter are Bolivian, and having spent a lot of time in their beautiful country, I have had the privilege of becoming good friends with the Spanish language. I offer all services in both English and Spanish.
As a member of the LGTBQ+ community, I love supporting "non-traditional" families (queer, polyamorous, single mom by choice, surrogacy, etc) as they prepare to welcome a new baby into their lives.

Offerings
Home Birth Doula
Includes 2 prenatal sessions, labor and birth, and 1 postpartum session. I see my role as a doula as one who will assist in opening, and attending to, the portal for your baby to come through; and as someone who can gently remind you and your providers of your birth plan as you traverse the transformational landscape of labor. As a highly-sensitive and attuned person, I will be present to you and your needs, serving you in both a material and spiritual sense. It would be my honor to accompany you as you bring your baby into the outside world.

Ceremonial Guide
Although not practiced very often in modern western cultures, ceremony is a very useful and beautiful tool that can be used to honor transitions. In ceremony we have the opportunity to connect intentionally with Mystery; calling in our hopes, offering our presence, and releasing our fears. I offer womben's ceremonies for the whole spectrum of the journey (pre-conception to pregnancy to mother's blessings to postpartum).

Intuitive Channeler
One of the most powerful ways to prepare for birth is through deep imagery journeying. After a brief one-on-one consultation I will create a unique recording for you to listen to as you get ready for the transformative experience of birthing your baby. The content of the recording is a combination of information you share with me about your little one and messages that flow through me, for you, from Great Mystery. This recording will accompany you as you prepare your mind to birth naturally, and can even be used during labor.
